The spoiler

Everyone has a trigger, a sore spot, something that when the subject is brought up it's very hurtful. And most everyone has a "spoiler" in their lives. A person in their life that can't let you be happy. The person who has to push your buttons, hit your sore spot, pull your trigger.
Well the day was great. Things were going good, maybe a couple of things went wrong, but as a whole a pretty good day. A "let's do it again" kind of day. Why is there always someone who has to make sure it's a "let's never do it again" kind of day? For me it always seems that someone has to play the "fat" card. "You're fat and everything that went wrong is your fault because you're fat." Guess what, telling me everything's my fault, isn't going to encourage me to lose weight so we can do it again. It's actually going to make me eat MORE. Wallow in self pity MORE. Workout...LESS-(haha bet you thought I was going to say more again didn't you?
These aren't my "spoilers", but this is the day that triggered this post. It really was a great day, and so are all these ladies!
People, be nice to those you love. Be uplifting and supportive. Treat the ones you love like strangers-why do we all do that? (Treat strangers better/nicer than the people we love the most?)

  1. I'm sorry you had to go through that. My uncle always made fun of MY weight, when I was a little kid, and I think that's what made me skip lunch in 7th grade. It at LEAST triggered it! I lost weight, but in an unhealthy way, that made me flabby and probably worse off. Try not to focus on that part of the trip though. Other than that, it looks like you had a fun time. I also think that family members feel like they are allowed to treat each other crappy, because through it all, we still all lover each other.(Except for my uncle. I detest him and always will.lol) But it's all good, because he moved away 5 years ago, and I'll hopefully never see him again!!Yay!!
